The Egremont Crab Fair and Sports.
This traditional fair and Sports takes place on the 3rd Saturday in September each year.
This has been taking place since 1267 when Egremont was granted its Market charter from Henry III.
There are many sporting events and shows to enjoy during the day and in the evening the World Gurning Championships and Clay pipe smoking competition with other events complete your days entertainment.
