Egremont can be reached from the south by following the A595 from the Barrow-in-Furness area or from the north by following the A595 from the Carlisle area. Both Barrow-in-Furness and Carlisle are accessable from the M6. You can use alternative routes through the lakes to Gosforth or to Cockermouth and then on to Egremont.
Stagecoach have a local bus route and the Railway Station is only a few miles away.
